Kerri Sonnenberg is a poet, educator and independent researcher in ecopoetics. She is author of The Mudra (Litmus Press). Originally from Illinois, she now resides in Cork, Ireland.
She has led writers’ workshops at Brown University, Columbia College Chicago, The Chicago Public Library, Woodland Pattern Book Center (Milwaukee), Chicago Public Schools and in Ireland at Greywood Arts and with the KinShip Project based in Cork’s Tramore Valley Park.
Her work has been anthologized in The City Visible: Chicago Poetry for the New Century; &Now Awards: The Best Innovative Writing; DC Poetry Anthology; A Journey Called Home: Poems and Stories of New Corkonians; Local Wonders: Poems of Our Immediate Surrounds; Cork Words 3.
She is currently at work on a second collection of poetry with the generous support of an Arts Council Bursary and a Cork City Council Individual Bursary.
